Triple up on Crystal Palace? The FPL talking point

Oliver Glasner's FA Cup-winning Crystal Palace are a force to be reckoned with so is it time to stack your Fantasy Premier League team with Eagles assets?

Palace sit 10th in the Premier League, but have a favourable run of of fixtures coming up in November.

They host Brentford and Brighton before away trips to Wolves and Manchester United.

But with Glasner's outfit also competing in the Conference League this season, and having reached the Carabao Cup quarter-finals after beating Liverpool on Wednesday, is there a danger the Eagles boss may have to rotate?

'Great value for money' - the case for triple Palace

FPL Heisenberg: Crystal Palace have been incredible under Glasner and now is the time to bring their assets in. They have three home games in their next four games and they do not face a top-six team in any of their next six gameweeks.

Crystal Palace assets offer great value for money with Daniel Munoz, Ismaila Sarr and Jean-Philippe Mateta being my recommended triple up.

Munoz is incredibly attacking with no defender having more goal contributions than him over the past two seasons. So far this season he has one goal and three assists in nine games.

For an attacking wing-back, he's also surprisingly decent for Defensive Contributions earning those points in three of his nine games this season.

Sarr is a great mid-priced midfielder, showing his potential with a brace at Anfield in the cup this week. His league form has been decent so far too, with three goals and one assist in seven starts.

With the fixtures now turning more favourable I'm backing him to improve on these numbers.

Mateta has scored five league goals so far this season, with a hat-trick in gameweek 8 at home to Bournemouth. His underlying numbers are great too with only Erling Haaland having a higher expected goals than him so far this season. With Mateta you also get penalties which is a big plus in FPL.

FPL Heisenberg: However, Crystal Palace will have a tricky time balancing their squad with all the competitions they are in. They are still in Europe and will have fixtures in both domestic cup competitions too.

On balance, it's still worth going for the triple up with their main men Munoz, Sarr and Mateta unlikely to miss games in the Premier League.

Statman Dave: My only concern with Crystal Palace at the moment is the Conference League and these cup competitions because there is no rotation at the moment. Oliver Glasner is literally playing his first XI Thursday and then his first XI on the weekend.

How they play is very energetic, playing twice a week, the wing backs and central midfielders, that is a bit of a concern.

So I am going to have three for probably two to three game weeks and then probably take Sarr out and stick with Mateta and Maxence Lacroix. Defensively is more of a concern because of that energy and fitness - maybe three is a bit too much at the moment.
