Everton have been strongly linked with a Richarlison reunion and Alan Myers has now shared his early thoughts on the possible return to Merseyside.
David Moyes will be frustrated to see his attempts over the summer to strengthen the striker department fall flat.
Despite spending a significant sum of money on Thierno Barry, Everton still look toothless in the opposition’s box.
As a result, Everton News is aware that Everton will be active in January for a new striker to bolster their attack.
One of the players which is believed to be on the radar for Everton is Richarlison following his 2022 move to Tottenham Hotspur.
Everton News also understands that Richarlison would be keen to return to Everton.
With a potential move on the cards for next summer, Myers has shared his initial thoughts on a potential move for the Brazilian striker.

It is not just the Blues who would like to sign the 28-year-old, with Flamengo also keen to sign Richarlison if he is to leave Spurs.

However, a move in January could prove difficult for all parties given the finances involved in bringing his Tottenham deal to an end.
And taking to social media, Everton News columnist Myers has shared his caution over a potential January switch.
“I don’t see it happening tbh but who knows,” he said on X.
The Friedkins certainly backed Moyes in the summer window, but more is going to be needed to see Everton really kick on.
Everton have now got the foundations to become a really good side but the missing link is still a quality striker.
An Everton return for Richarlison may divide fans
On Wednesday night, Tottenham fans were urging Everton to re-sign Richarlison following his showing on Tyneside in the Carabao Cup.
There is no way of sugarcoating it but Richarlison’s time in north London has not exactly been a huge success.
He may have got his hands on the Europa League back in May, but his goalscoring record has been pretty poor.

Of course, injuries have played their part, but the Brazilian is currently fit and struggling to find the back of the net.
Thomas Frank raised concerns over Richarlison’s positioning inside the box as he constantly arrived late on the end of crosses.
Bringing Richarlison back would be a gamble for Everton given the club needs a striker they can rely on in front of goal.
