Steve Kerr vented his frustrations
He noticed a strange trend
Milwaukee’s best player was out of the lineup
The Golden State Warriors’ hot start fizzled out on the road against the Giannis Antetokounmpo-less Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night as Kerr’s team lost by a score of 120-110.
The Warriors’ 19 turnovers proved to be their undoing as they were unable to beat a Milwaukee team that was missing its best player.
Following the game, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr shared his raw thoughts on what happened, lamenting the Warriors’ hard times against teams missing their star players.

Kerr’s Quip on Warriors’ Struggles
Kerr made a quip on the Warriors’ struggles, as they have consistently lost to teams missing their superstar players.
“We’re like 0-12 the last couple years when (opponents) sit their stars,” Kerr said.
Warriors star forward Jimmy Butler called Thursday’s contest a “very winnable game if we go out there and do what we’re supposed to do,” but things didn’t break the Warriors way as eight Milwaukee players scored in double figures for coach Doc Rivers’ team.
Kerr said his team didn’t have its usual “pop” during the game, particularly when it came to switching and defending screens.
The Warriors are now 4-2 on the season and have a road game against the 2024-25 NBA runners-up the Indiana Pacers next prior to their home game against the Phoenix Suns on Nov. 4 at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
Fans came up with myriad reasons as to why Kerr’s squad didn’t perform as well as their previous few games.
“Dare I say it has anything to do with an aging core?” one commenter said.
“Fatigue? More like complacency,” another said.
“Again his substitutions are hurting this team,” another fan added.
“Fatigue in the sixth game of the season?” another asked, adding to a growing chorus of voices who believe the Warriors are past their prime.
