Everton’s youngsters have not exactly been handed many opportunities this season, but there is one impressing in training.
David Moyes has been keen to really push on in the Premier League following a strong summer transfer window.
Even after making his big-money move to Merseyside, Tyler Dibling has struggled for minutes at Everton so far.
Everton have now gone back-to-back games without a victory, which may lead Moyes towards bringing in some new faces for the starting XI.
It has been suggested that Merlin Rohl is impressing in Everton training following his recent return from injury.
However, it is an 18-year-old prospect who is now stealing the praise at Finch Farm having been called up to senior training.

Everton youngster George Pickford impressing in training
Already this season, Everton have seen Harrison Armstrong shine on loan for Preston North End during the early stages of his loan.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
The route into the first team has been difficult for Everton’s prospects, but goalkeeper George Pickford is earning some opportunities in training.
No relation to Jordan Pickford, the 18-year-old shot stopper has now been called up to train with Moyes’ first team at Finch Farm.
On Thursday, footage was shared by Everton’s academy account on X showing Pickford in action.
After pulling off a smart save with his feet, the 18-year-old received a raucous reaction from the coaches, who hailed the youngster’s quick thinking.
Jordan Pickford is looking to surpass Neville Southall’s legacy at Everton, which will see the 31-year-old remain the mainstay on Merseyside for years to come.
The 18-year-old prospect should be encouraged by his opportunity in training, with a potential loan his next step towards impressing Moyes in the long-term.
Pickford may need to look for a loan move
Clearly, with the England number one standing in his way, the 18-year-old Pickford is going to struggle to find minutes in the senior side.
Even when it comes to the cup competition, Everton signed Mark Travers over the summer to become their new number two keeper.
Training with the senior side is, of course, a good step forward for Pickford, but he has some serious competition in his way.
Moyes is closely watching Armstrong out on loan with Preston, which should give players confidence about leaving Merseyside for a loan move.
However, with Jordan Pickford just signing a new Everton contract, a long wait may be needed to become the replacement for his namesake.
