Opta’s supercomputer drops a prediction for Man Utd’s Premier League match against Nottingham Forest at City Ground
Manchester United have lost only once in their last five Premier League matches and the Red Devils are currently sixth in the table after their recent run of form.
Nottingham Forest, on the other hand, have had a rough 2025-26 Premier League campaign and the club have lost four of their last five matches in the league.
However, Sean Dyche’s side caused a stunning upset against Primeira Liga outfit Porto in their Europa League clash at City Ground last Thursday.
Opta Analyst has pulled out its supercomputer and it was put to the test for the Forest and United match, which was run through a simulation ‘thousands of times.’
According to the results, the supercomputer only handed United a 35.4 per cent chance of clinching all three Premier League points at the weekend.
Forest, on the other hand, have a 38.1 per cent chance of ending their four-match Premier League losing streak when they host United on Saturday afternoon.
The Opta supercomputer also suggested that there could be a 26.5 per cent chance that United manager Ruben Amorim and Forest boss Dyche share the points.

What Ruben Amorim has said about Nottingham Forest under Sean Dyche ahead of Man Utd’s Premier League match
Amorim held his pre-match press conference on Thursday and the United head coach admitted that the Red Devils will have to adapt their approach against Forest.
“We need to be prepared for a different game; against Brighton, we had space to play,” he said, as per Manchester United’s official website.
“We are not going to have that space.”
Amorim added: “We need to understand we are not being the same team away and at home, so we need to improve the way we control the environment. Every tackle is a big moment for the opponents’ fans.
“So, we need to play better away. We are prepared for a very tough match.”
United and Forest’s Premier League clash at City Ground is slated for a 3pm kick-off time in the UK on Saturday.
