Brighton scouting player again this week – Watched him twice after Seagulls star’s recommendation

Brighton and Hove Albion have already scouted Fenerbahçe’s İsmail Yüksek on two occasions and plan to continue doing so.

That’s according to Takvim, who report that the Turkish midfielder has been recommended by Ferdi Kadıoğlu.

A report yesterday stated that Brighton were keen on Yüksek and scouting him. That made clear that they intended to keep watching him but were not doing anything formal as yet.

Takvim add a little more information to that. They report that Brighton have Yüksek on their scouting list. They’re planning on watching him closely in the Beşiktaş derby on Sunday.

In fact, they’ve already scouted the 26-year-old in clashes against Nice and Stuttgart. They appear to be keen and have begun preliminary preparations for a transfer.

Their interest comes after the player was positively recommended to them by Brighton defender Ferdi Kadıoğlu. Yüksek is currently valued at €11m but that price may increase now that a Premier League side is interested.

For now, Brighton are simply scouting the player and intend to do so against this weekend when Fenerbahçe’s take on Besiktas in the derby. His performance on that could perhaps increase the chances of a transfer in January.
