Jaylen Brown Sends Warning To NBA About Celtics

The Boston Celtics gave fans something to cheer about on Wednesday night, as they took down the Cleveland Cavaliers and scored their second win of the season.

Everyone agrees that the Celtics look different from last season due to the absences of multiple pivotal players.

But Jaylen Brown is telling fans not to worry, because the team is not where they want to be, and they aren’t giving up.

“This is not our peak. We still got a long way to go. And I’m looking forward to getting there,” Brown said.

The Celtics are now 2-3 after a tough start to the year.

While that has been discouraging, it hasn’t been that surprising.

When the team lost Jayson Tatum last postseason due to a serious injury, even the most devoted and diehard fans agreed that things could be bleak for the Celtics in 2025-26.

Then the summer brought more change with players like Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday leaving the lineup for other teams.

This is definitely a transitional year for Boston, and few people expect them to be championship contenders.

But that doesn’t mean they won’t still play their hearts out.

Brown is being tasked with more responsibilities, and he is feeling the weight on his shoulders.

However, he isn’t shying away from that and still has deep faith in his squad.

So far this season, Brown has made a strong case for being Boston’s first option with an average of 26.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.8 assists on 52.2 percent from the field.

He is playing like someone who thinks his team is still one of the best in the East, and fans love to see it.
