Former Warrior Ryan Rollins taunts Dub Nation fans after Bucks win

The Milwaukee Bucks pulled off an impressive 120-110 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night, overcoming the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was ruled out just an hour before the game because of left knee soreness.

Even without their two-time MVP, Milwaukee delivered a composed and efficient showing at Fiserv Forum. The Bucks limited the Warriors to 42.4 percent shooting from the field and 34.2 percent from three-point range, while keeping their own turnovers to just 12 compared to Golden State’s 19.

Former Warriors guard Ryan Rollins took center stage, posting a career-best 32 points alongside eight assists, three rebounds, and just a single turnover. He showcased his shooting touch all night, going 13-for-21 from the floor and knocking down five of seven attempts from deep.

After the game, Rollins jokingly called out Warriors fans, saying, “What up dub dub nation, good dub, great dub, we gotta keep it going, yessir.”

His scoring outburst marked his second straight strong showing, following a then-career-high 25 points against the New York Knicks. Rollins’ knack for attacking the lane and sinking crucial jumpers kept Milwaukee in command for most of the game, especially during the final quarter when the Warriors tried to rally.

Golden State selected Rollins with the 44th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, but he saw limited action as a rookie before being dealt to the Washington Wizards in the Jordan Poole–Chris Paul trade. Less than a year later, Rollins has developed into a promising young piece for the Milwaukee Bucks.

The 23-year-old guard has thrived with the added responsibility following Kevin Porter Jr.’s left ankle injury in the season opener, earning the starting point guard role. This season, Rollins has put up 15.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and three steals per game in 29.8 minutes, scoring at least 10 points in all but one outing.

The Warriors came up short despite solid efforts from Stephen Curry, who scored 27 points, Jonathan Kuminga, who added 24 points and eight rebounds, and Jimmy Butler, who finished with 23 points and 11 boards. Costly turnovers and inconsistent shooting, especially in the second half where they totaled only 52 points, led to their second defeat of the season.
