Daniel Farke compliments a key Brighton attacker who has ‘progressed really well’

Daniel Farke offered his thoughts on **Brighton**and a compatriot in the opposing dugout.

The Seagulls have taken points off Tottenham, Newcastle United, and **Man City**in the first two and a half months of a campaign with inconsistent results. Their match management is not the strongest, but the talent in the group is visible to the **Leeds**head coach, who goes into their duel with respect.

He spent some time talking about the qualities of two of their key figures he has encountered in the past: Fabian Hurzeler, the youngest Premier League manager, is a man he knows from Germany, and Georginio Rutter, a technically gifted French forward, was formerly on the books at Leeds.

“Great results against top sides, we know what they’ve done in past seasons. Credit to what they’ve done, a fantastic job. Established Premier League side, allowed to speak about Europe instead of relegation. You have to give credit to them, fantastic how they’ve developed but we have a chance wherever we go. We are respectful but we won’t travel in fear.

“Credit to Fabian’s quality and potential as manager. Also in charge of St Pauli, there was proper handwriting in his team. Even a few years ago you could tell he’s a big talent, full of potential, and progressed really well.

*“He is doing a fantastic job at Brighton, also at this age to handle the pressure and stay cool. Quite impressive he is already at this level, also not his limit. He will earn more experience and develop into a top class coach. He is already.*

*“They had a few changes [vs **Arsenal*], pretty sure they wanted to win but not the main intention. Don’t think they were too distracted, shared the load.

*“[Rutter] has progressed really well. It was a joy to work with him because he was like a young horse. He was wild, full of energy and just wanted to play. He is an important player for Brighton. We want to handle him at the weekend and we will be making sure he doesn't shine too much."*
