Andersen among players back as Fulham’s injury problems ease

Fulham’s injury problems are finally easing.

Boss Marco Silva was able to provide a positive update ahead of the game against Wolves this weekend.

Silva has been without a number of key players and Antonee Robinson is still sidelined, while Raul Jimenez is a doubt for the game against the striker’s former club.

And both Rodrigo Muniz and Samuel Chukwueze will need to be assessed before a decision is made on whether they are involved.

But Joachim Andersen is back, while Harry Wilson and Emile Smith Rowe are also available.

“Things start to look a bit better,” Silva explained.

“I like to have the young players around, but it’s much better to see the senior players around in terms of numbers and bodies in our sessions – and it’s been completely different the last two days.

“Some of them, after a long absence, are starting to come back with the team, start to play with the team.

“Joachim Andersen is going to be in, definitely. Antonee Robinson is still out. Emile Smith-Rowe is going to be in contention. Harry Wilson too.

“The other players we have to analyse, like Rodrigo, like Samuel Chukwueze as well, but looks like they can be in condition for the game too.

Jimenez went off during this week’s Carabao Cup game against Wycombe.
