Everton's festive fixtures have been confirmed with more changes to Premier League kick-off times
Evertonians are now able to plan their diaries for the festive period after the kick-off time for post-Christmas fixtures were confirmed. Earlier in December, the Blues’ trip to Bournemouth had already been brought forward 24 hours to December 2, and the home game with Arsenal had been moved back a day until December 21.
Now, the latest batch of Premier League changes have now been announced and there are a trio of changes for Everton.
With no widespread Boxing Day programme this year, David Moyes’ men travel to Turf Moor on Saturday, December 27 (3pm kick-off) in an unaffected time for the first of a brace of away days between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
Everton are then scheduled to face Moyes’ predecessor Sean Dyche for the second time in December – having hosted Nottingham Forest on December 6 – when they go to the City Ground on December 30 for what has been brought forward half an hour from an 8pm to 7.30pm kick-off.
The first full calendar year at Hill Dickinson Stadium begins on Sunday, January 4 as the Blues host Brentford (3pm) in a game that has been put back 24 hours while they then have a second successive home game before the FA Cup third-round when they entertain Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday January 7, a fixture, like Nottingham Forest away, which has been brought forward half an hour from 8pm to 7:30pm.
