Tucker Kraft might well be the most dominant and complete tight end in the NFL, and he’s having a major impact on the entirety of the Packers’ offense.
Beyond developing into quarterback Jordan Love’s favorite, and most explosive target, Kraft has become the entire offense’s focal point.
So far this season, Kraft is already approaching career highs with 30 catches for 469 yards and six touchdowns, seemingly getting better each week.

The Packers chose Kraft and Luke Musgrave in the same draft class, but as Kraft has exploded, Musgrave has vanished.
Kraft has effectively become the Packers’ WR1, but if the scheme was ever envisioned to become a two-tight end set, it has yet to materialize, and at this rate, might not.
Musgrave has caught just six passes for 54 yards, in a limited role in the offense, so far this season.
While Musgrave has battled through myriad injuries, it is worth wondering what his future in Green Bay holds as Kraft continues to carve out an ever expanded piece of the puzzle on offense and gain Love’s confidence, seemingly more so each week.
As the NFL trade deadline nears, Musgrave could be a player to watch who could be on the move, but if he’s a Packer come November 5, it will be fascinating to see how his target share evolves the rest of this season, and beyond.
