**Alan Shearer is worried about West Ham United, with Newcastle United heading to the capital on Sunday for a Sky Sports televised Premier League clash. Kick-off is 2 pm.**
Newcastle's season so far has been very stop-start, but in comparison to the start West Ham have made, it has been sunshine and rainbows.
The Hammers have one win in the Premier League and one draw, and with just four points sit 19th, two points ahead of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
They're already on their second manager of the season, which is better than Nottingham Forest's three, but it's still less than ideal.

Now Alan Shearer has made a big claim about the Hammers' future when predicting who will win on Sunday for the [Metro](https://metro.co.uk/2025/10/31/alan-shearers-premier-league-predictions-man-utd-arsenal-spurs-vs-chelsea-24578553/).
> "I wouldn’t say comfortable for Newcastle, but I think with the form and the pressure that is at West Ham, there seems to be a real discord between fans, owners and players."Newcastle have to go there and take advantage of that horrible situation. I would hope Newcastle go there and get three points."At the minute, I do think West Ham will go down, because I don’t see anything that can tell me differently. With what I’ve seen up to now this season, they will go down if it doesn’t improve dramatically. I would really worry for West Ham fans.

It's a bit early to be throwing out relegation predictions
----------------------------------------------------------
It may be a bit soon to be picking out relegation candidates, but it doesn't look great for West Ham right now, and obviously, even worse for Wolves.
There's a long way to go, though, so we'll have to wait and see how it goes.
Our concern is purely the outcome on Sunday and Newcastle picking up three points at the London Stadium. Whatever they do after that is fine with us.
