Hurzeler pinpoints Albion's key to success ahead of crunch fixture

Fabian Hurzeler has been generally encouraged by recent performances – but not for a full 90 minutes.

The head coach said: “I think the performances we are seeing, also the last performances, there were a lot of positive things.

“Now it's about the small details, like how to defend the box, how to defend the edge of the box, how to defend a give-and-go.

“All these small little margins, we have to do it 90 minutes.

“At the moment, we are switching off in the main actions, we're not staying alive and that's an easy change we can do.

“But I think it's also natural, like when we see that the players who are on the pitch, most of them are really young players and they are not on the highest level at the moment.

“So I think that it's natural that, if you're not in the highest level, in some moments we are struggling.

“The main thing is really that the individual players get back to their best shape and then the whole team will profit from that.

“That's our responsibility, together with the individual players, to get them back on to the highest level.

“And then I am sure we can be very strong as a team.”
