When applicable, I’ll toss in the predictions from Dave Bryan and myself to see how we stack up.

Quick Notes

– At home, Pittsburgh is 13-1 against Indianapolis since the 1970 merger. However, the Colts have won the last two meetings, both of which the Steelers were on the road for. Pittsburgh’s only home loss to Indianapolis came in 2008 when QB Peyton Manning threw three touchdowns in a 24-20 win.

– The Colts have scored 30-plus in each of their last four games. The Steelers have allowed 30-plus in their last two and in four of seven games this season.

– Jaylen Warren has yet to record a rushing touchdown this season. His 83 carries are the most by any NFL player this season without a rushing score. If you’re curious of the single-season record, it’s 240 set by Baltimore Colts RB Joe Washington in 1978.

– Pittsburgh has allowed six touchdowns to tight ends this season. Indianapolis rookie TE Tyler Warren has scored in three of his last four games.

– The Colts are on pace to score 573 points this season. They’ve already recorded 270, nearly matching the total of the 2019 Duck Hodges/Mason Rudolph-led Steelers who scored 289 that entire season (and got help with many defensive and special teams scores).

– QB Daniel Jones is 0-2 against the Steelers, combining for two touchdowns and three interceptions. Of course, those losses came with the New York Giants.

– T.J. Watt is on pace to finish with 9.7 sacks. Alex Highsmith is on pace to finish with 3.6, though he missed time with an ankle injury.

– K Chris Boswell has the third-lowest touchback rate this season. Just 5 percent of his kicks have gone for touchbacks.
