CHARLOTTE Harris thought ‘why not?’ before she curled the ball into the far corner to open the scoring with a wonderful strike for the [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/?ref=au) against Oxford.
Harris collected the ball from Sophie Quirk on the left, she cut inside her marker before bending the ball in at the far post.
Reflecting on her goal, Harris told the Daily Echo: “I don't score a lot of goals, but I was in that position and I'm really grateful for the trust that Blez \[boss Helen Bleazard\] has put in me and I just thought, why not?
“If there was an occasion to do it, it's today. So I'm really happy it went in. And to help contribute to the winning scoreline is just something I'm really grateful for.
“Obviously Sophie had a great goal as well, which again, I think just settled our nerves early on. And I think from those two goals we were able to play really freely.”
