Daniel Farke is looking to build off Leeds United’s win against West Ham in the Premier League.

Leeds now play Brighton in the league on Saturday, as the Whites travel to the American Express Stadium in hopes of another three points.

Farke is trying his best to keep Leeds from being relegated, as Willy Gnonto could return against Brighton and boost the Whites’ chances of winning.

Leeds are in with a genuine shot at Premier League survival, but it hinges on one key factor that has emerged since the 49ers arrived.

Leeds United shared a clip of Farke’s delight on X, when the German head coach was able to share that his whole squad is in contention to play against Brighton.

Farke said: “Nothing to report, nothing to complain about, no illness, no injuries.

“Everyone’s in training, we have a proper group, everyone’s available – proper competition.”

Although injuries are inevitable, the timescale that Leeds players are recovering has been much faster since the 49ers made one decision.

The 49ers have improved Leeds’ fitness and medical team

Leeds club website confirmed Rob Price’s departure before the start of the 2024-25 season, as the former Head of Medicine & Performance then joined Derby County.

During his stay at Leeds, Price saw the days of Marcelo Bielsa’s “murder ball”, as the Whites suffered with devastating injuries for many years, with Stuart Dallas retiring after being unable to recover from a femoral fracture in April 2022.

Since Page’s departure, the 49ers have made changes and brought in a new fitness team with more modern regimes.
