As good a football ground it is, the real jewel in its crown is the ability to transform into a multi-purpose venue.
The Hill Dickinson Stadium is transforming Everton’s finances, with new streams of revenue now coming into the club.
Even ahead of the game between England and Australia on Saturday, the new home of Everton is earning praise from new visitors.

Rugby reporter wowed by Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium
Everton have transformed the Hill Dickinson Stadium for the rugby fixture being held there, and it looks absolutely fantastic.

It is no surprise the new stadium is quickly becoming the envy of those across the country.
Having scoped out the surroundings, one rugby reporter took to social media on Friday to share just how much he is liking Everton’s new home.
“The in-goal sizes at Everton, for anyone interested. A good size, much better than Old Trafford,” said Josh McAllister on X.
Ironically, James Garner admitted the Hill Dickinson Stadium is as good as Old Trafford recently when comparing his two footballing homes.
Attention will now turn to how much damage is done to the pitch ahead of next weekend’s fixture against Fulham on Merseyside.
However, the early indications are that those involved in the rugby fixture are already liking what they are seeing from Everton’s new home.
Everton could already be landing future business
For years, Old Trafford has been the venue of the Super League Grand Final, which could potentially now come under threat.
If those involved are waxing lyrical about the Hill Dickinson Stadium and sharing how much better it is than Old Trafford, then there could be something in it for Everton.
Birmingham City’s owner loves the Hill Dickinson Stadium and has admitted he’ll take inspiration for their new stadium plans.
Tom Wagner was wowed by the steep stands on Merseyside, but there are some limits to the stadium, given it’s capacity is much lower than the likes of Old Trafford.
Everton do hold plans to increase their stadium’s capacity, but that may be a big factor when it comes to landing cup final fixtures.
