Liverpool will look to avoid an unwanted piece of club history tonight and get their Premier League campaign back on track. The defending champions welcome Aston Villa to Anfield (8pm) on the back of four straight defeats in the competition.
A fifth would equal the Reds' worst run in the league since 1953-54 - a season when they were last relegated from the top flight.
Now, there is no danger of that happening. But there is no doubt Liverpool need to return to winning ways and fast having also been dumped out of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday following a 3-0 loss to bogey-side Crystal Palace.
With injuries piling up, Reds head coach Arne Slot fielded an under-strength team for the fourth-round exit. But he will be able to field a much stronger starting line-up this evening.
Who, then, does Slot go with? Our Liverpool writers have their say...

If 10 changes is good for Arne Slot then it is good enough for me. And, as expected, I am making wholesale alterations to my Liverpool team for this one, with just one player keeping his place from the side that were sent packing from Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.
The only who keeps his place is Andy Robertson and even then, the stand-in-skipper loses the armband and moves from centre-back to left-back. Milos Kerkez could use a few games out of the firing line, so this is ideal for Scotland captain Robertson to reaffirm his enduing importance to the cause.
Conor Bradley returns at right-back and Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk are the centre-halves. Giorgi Mamardashvili stands in for Alisson Becker once more in goal.
With Ryan Gravenberch having had the benefit of two training sessions with his colleagues, he starts alongside Dominik Szoboszlai, who has been the player of the season so far really. Florian Wirtz gets the nod once more in the No.10 role and it's time for the Germany international to light the match on his Anfield career.
Mohamed Salah slots back into his usual right-wing role and Cody Gakpo begins off the left. With Alexander Isak still troubled by a groin issue, it's Hugo Ekitike to lead the line. A performance and a result are sorely needed.
My team (4-2-3-1): Mamardashvili; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Szoboszlai; Salah, Wirtz, Gakpo; Ekitike.

Halloween will be in the past when Liverpool take to the field against Aston Villa on Saturday evening, and the home side will hope the horrors of the last six weeks are now behind them.
What, then, is Reds boss Arne Slot to do? Having rested almost everybody against Crystal Palace in midweek, it's time to bring back the big guns and essentially implore them to start actually winning some matches again.
In goal, it's Giorgi Mamardashvili once again. Conor Bradley returns at right-back, and Andy Robertson can get the nod at left-back. Ibrahima Konate and skipper Virgil van Dijk are the centre-backs.
Ryan Gravenberch should be fit enough to return in midfield and I'd have Dominik Szoboszlai in alongside him at the base, with Florian Wirtz the number 10.
Up top, it's Hugo Ekitike down the centre with Mohamed Salah to his right and Cody Gakpo on the left.
My team (4-2-3-1): Mamardashvili; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Szoboszlai; Salah, Wirtz, Gakpo; Ekitike.

After naming a much-changed side against Crystal Palace, the big guns return against Aston Villa. And with Arne Slot facing plenty of scrutiny for resting so many senior stars against the Eagles, he could really do with Liverpool returning to winning ways on Saturday night to ease some of the pressure.
Giorgi Mamardashvili returns in goal with Alisson Becker not yet ready to make his comeback from injury, while Conor Bradley starts at right-back.
Andy Robertson is the only player from midweek to keep his place, but he can line up in his favoured left-back position on this occasion. It is time to take the out-of-form Milos Kerkez out of the firing line, and the decision to withdraw the Scot rather than Hungarian against Palace probably offered a hint as to who would be given starting duties in this mammoth week for the Reds.
Ibrahima Konate partners Virgil van Dijk at centre-back, while Ryan Gravenberch should hopefully be fit enough to start after returning to training following an ankle injury. He can be partnered by Dominik Szoboszlai, with Alexis Mac Allister still not at the races.
And with Alexander Isak still an injury doubt, Hugo Ekitike leads the line with Florian Wirtz at number 10 and Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo on either flank. Fingers crossed that Saturday is the day that new-look attack finally clicks.
My team (4-2-3-1): Mamardashvili; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Szoboszlai; Salah, Wirtz, Gakpo; Ekitike.
