Anton Stach is at it again with hilarious message before Leeds United face Brighton

Anton Stach has made quite the name for himself since arriving at Leeds United, not only on the pitch but also away from it.

The German has caught the eye on social media with his quirky edits ahead of matches, often including a reference to the opposition.

For example, the Leeds No.18 posted a graphic involving the popular game Fruit Ninja ahead of the 2-2 draw against Bournemouth, where cherries – the club’s nickname – were being sliced up.

Anton Stach has now struck again ahead of the game against Brighton.

Anton Stach at it again with seagull graphic before Brighton vs Leeds

The Germany international has done it again, posting a graphic from the iconic Finding Nemo scene involving plenty of seagulls – Brighton’s nickname.

Stach – who said his girlfriend helps him with the images – is not certain to start after posting the graphic, however.

The man born in Buchholz in der Nordheide also posted a hilarious photo before the 2-1 win over West Ham last time out of himself as Thor, holding a hammer in reference to the east Londoners’ nickname.

However, Stach was not involved in the starting XI for that victory, with Daniel Farke opting to leave him on the bench due to a rib injury and fielding Ao Tanaka instead.

Anton Stach channelling his inner Mateusz Klich

Leeds lost a bit of madness around the place when Mateusz Klich departed in January 2023.

The Pole was a real character, who truly bought into the club after arriving from Twente in June 2017.

Klich even wore a Lucas Radebe shirt in his free time and often left Leeds fans laughing, while also bringing plenty of quality onto the pitch, so in many ways, he and Stach are quite similar.

Having become a cult hero across his six years at Elland Road, Leeds fans will hope the German can emulate that legacy following his £17.4m move from TSG Hoffenheim.
