There's a college football recruit in the Class of 2026 named Bam Adebayo, too.

The football player is a defensive back from Providence who just received a preferred walk-on offer from Rhode Island.

The NBA's Bam Adebayo's first name is Edrice.

He's called Bam, like Bam Bam, because he used to run into the coffee table in his family's house when he was little.

Maybe there's a similar origin story to the high school senior Bam, or maybe not.
