Everton have seen a new set of fans take to their Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday for the Rugby Ashes Series.

David Moyes will be preparing for the trip to Sunderland on Monday evening, but the groundsman have remained focus on the new home of the Toffees.

One rugby reporter has been seriously impressed by Everton’s new stadium, which he even claimed to be better than Old Trafford.

Everton have held a strong record at the Hill Dickinson Stadium since it was opened over the summer, with only one loss in their five Premier League games.

There will be some concerns over the damage potentially done to the newly-laid pitch on Merseyside.

Fulham make the trip to the Hill Dickinson next weekend which has now seen one rugby legend take a piece of memorabilia away with him despite the warning from the groundsman.
