Chelsea Football Club has officially confirmed the appointment of Dave Fallows to its Sporting Leadership Team. He joins the club on 1 November under a contract running through 2031, marking another major step in the club’s long-term project under Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital.
As part of his role Fallows will be responsible for football development including scouting, data, loans and pathways. Additionally, he is to foster staff development and structural evolution at the club’s all levels. The Sporting Leadership Team is led by Co-Sporting Directors Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley, with whom Fallows will collaborate closely. He will also work alongside Joe Shields and Sam Jewell, ensuring all departments operate under one united football strategy.
