West Ham ‘keeping a close eye’ on player – January move possible if Hammers man exits

West Ham United are eyeing a move for Stuttgart’s Angelo Stiller if they can move on Guido Rodríguez in the January transfer window.

That’s [according to Fussball Europa,](https://www.fussballeuropa.com/news/exklusiv-guido-rodriguez-will-west-ham-united-im-winter-verlassen-2025-10) who report that Stiller is on West Ham’s list. They’re keen to move Rodríguez on in January if they can.

The plan had been to sell him in the summer but his wages, €3m per year, proved difficult for suitors. Ultimately, he remained at the London Stadium.

He is not in Nuno Espirito Santo’s plans, though. And both parties would now like a separation in January if they can find a suitor for him.

Should a move happen, Fussball Europa report that Stuttgart’s Angelo Stiller is on their list. He’s been earning admirers across Europe with his performances for the German side. He would be a direct replacement for Rodríguez as a defensive midfielder.

Stiller is a product of Bayern Munich’s youth system but moved to Hoffenheim in 202. He spent three seasons with them before joining Stuttgart. He’s since thrived under manager Sebastian Hoeneß.

Reports in the summer, and since, have linked the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid with potential moves for the 24-year-old. West Ham are also seemingly keen and ‘keeping a close eye’ on him. But they’ll only move if they can move on Rodríguez first.
