Three biggest moments as Manchester United draw 2-2 with Forest, Casemiro and Amad goals

Manchester United took on Nottingham Forest this weekend, and the game saw multiple big moments.

As Manchester United looked to secure a fourth straight win in the Premier League, it was Nottingham Forest and Sean Dyche who stood in the way.

Following a nervy start, it was United who struck first, taking a 1-0 lead through Casemiro.

It was a corner which Bruno Fernandes set delightfully onto the Brazilian’s head, although there will be debate over whether it was a corner at all.

This saw the Red Devils lead at the break, but a second-half capitulation meant Forest were 2-1 ahead before the 50th minute.

Amad drew United level with a brilliant volley from the edge of the box.

Here are the biggest moments from the game.

Casemiro scores the opening goal

With Forest set up well defensively and opportunities proving hard to come by, United took a page from Arsenal’s book in order to take the lead.

From a set-piece, Dyche will be livid with his team as Casemiro was given almost a free header to take the lead.

This is Casemiro’s third of the season as he continues to have an excellent campaign for United, rolling back the years.

Manchester United’s slow start to the second half

At half-time, things looked good, and Amorim’s fourth win in a row looked to be pending. However, disaster struck.

United started the second half incredibly slowly and were caught by a Forest one-two, as Dyche’s side scored twice before the 50th minute to turn the game on its head.

This five-minute period looks to be decisive in the game and should be a major lesson to the Red Devils.

Amad’s audacious effort to draw level

With the minutes ticking down, United were struggling to create, but then the ball fell to Amad on the edge of the box.

The Ivory Coast international caught it on the volley, placing it wonderfully in the back of the net.

United’s attack was non-functional against Forest’s low block, but the audacious effort was good enough to find the net.
