Amad Diallo's wonder strike saw Manchester United deny Nottingham Forest

Manchester United battled to a 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday.

United took the lead in the first half thanks to a goal from Casemiro, but Forest quickly responded with two goals after the break to flip the game on its head.

The Reds were staring down the barrel of defeat until Amad stepped up to score a stunning goal with just nine minutes left on the clock, ensuring the spoils were shared.

Here's how United's players performed at the City Ground:.

Senne Lammens: Made several crucial saves and couldn't be blamed for the two Forest goals, particularly the second. 6.

Leny Yoro: Most of Forest's attacking play was focused on the opposite side to Yoro, which could be seen as a compliment to the Frenchman. 6.

Matthijs de Ligt: Made an excellent recovery to stop Nicolò€ Savona in the first half. Could have done better with Forest's second goal. 6.

Ruben Amorim

Luke Shaw: If he keeps playing like this, he'll earn his way back into the England squad. Unlucky to be part of a defence that conceded twice. 6.

Amad: Had a couple of great opportunities when cutting in from the right wing. Couldn't win the header against Gibbs-White but scored a spectacular goal to level the score at 2-2. 7.

Casemiro: Scored the opening goal with a fantastic header. Seemed to tire as the match went on, but managed to complete a full 90 minutes in the Premier League for the first time this season. 6.

Bruno Fernandes: He was relatively subdued in the first half until he delivered a beautiful cross into the box for Casemiro's goal. He hit the post in the second half, but Casemiro failed to convert the rebound. 6.

Diogo Dalot: Dalot always raises eyebrows when playing on the left side and he was found wanting at various points during the match. Amorim expected more from him, but he didn't step up. 3.

Bryan Mbeumo: Mbeumo played with great confidence and could have notched up several assists if opportunities had been capitalised on. He sent a tantalising pass to Benjamin Sesko in the first half, but the striker didn't take the gamble. 7.

Benjamin Sesko: Sesko fluffed an opportunity in the box early in the game and pulled another shot wide after skilfully creating some space for himself. He looked sharp and provided a focal point, but failed to find the back of the net. 5.

Matheus Cunha: Despite his hard work, Cunha wasn't at his creative best. 6.

Subs:

Patrick Dorgu: Dorgu was an upgrade on Dalot. 6.
