Leeds United star left fuming by Daniel Farke decision in Brighton defeat

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has irked a member of his squad after the player lashed out during their defeat at Brighton earlier today.

Brighton inflicted a crushing 3-0 victory against the visitors. Danny Welbeck opened the scoring in the 11th minute to give the home team the lead. Diego Gomez then scored a brace in quick succession in the second half to secure all three points.

The home side hammered the opposition all over the park as the Seagulls rose to eighth on the table. The loss also meant that the Whites will end the week in 16th place.

Jayden Bogle lashes out at Daniel Farke

Leeds right back Jayden Bogle was unhappy at the bench when he was subbed out in the 77th minute. Midfielder Jack Harrison took his place in the park.

The 25-year was seemingly confused at the substitution, taking out his frustration at the bench. According to reporter Beren Cross, there was a debate between Bogle and the staff on the sidelines.

The Englishman did not have a good game with an error leading up to Brighton’s third goal.

Torrid run at Brighton continues

The Whites have failed to win a game at the American Express Stadium in their last 10 visits. They have also failed to score here in eight matches.

BBC’s Adam Pope felt a big gulf between the two sides, as Leeds lacked creativity in the middle and up front. “Slick and inventive Brighton hit three to reflect their superiority today”, summing up the performance of the home side.

This display will surely force Leeds to address their attacking issues.

Leeds will next face fellow relegation rivals Nottingham Forest on 9th November. Forest themselves drew with Manchester United to secure a valuable point for themselves.
