Sean Dyche has slammed referee Darren England and his assistants for their decision to award Manchester United a corner in the build-up to Casemiro's goal against Nottingham Forest.

United opened the scoring in a tight first half when Bruno Fernandes' corner was headed in by Casemiro. However, Dyche and the Forest fans were left angry that the corner was given in the first place.

Nicolo Savona looked to have kept the ball in play but the assistant on the far side flagged for a corner. Speaking to Sky Sports after the full-time whistle, Dyche said: "I've seen it back. That's two decisions that are not right that have gone against us.

"They give corners that aren't corners. They gave one last week and one this week. It's a really poor decision.

"That decides a lot. We are fighting for our lives to get up the table."

For a time it seemed that the goal would be a non-factor in the game. Immediately after half-time, Morgan Gibbs-White equalised with a good header and the roof lifted off the City Ground moments later as Savona prodded Forest ahead.

However, the game was rescued in the 81st minute after a scramble in the Forest penalty area saw the ball fly out to Amad who volleyed superbly to level proceedings.

Next up for United is a trip to Tottenham Hotspur before the final international break of 2025.
