'It looks like': TalkSPORT pundit unleashes bizarre rant over Everton's Hill Dickinson Stadium

Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium appears to be the talk of the Premier League this weekend despite the Toffees not even playing there.

TalkSPORT presenter Jamie O’Hara is no stranger to sharing a controversial opinion, but his latest may just take the cake.

The Hill Dickinson Stadium has been a real game changer for Everton and their finances under the Friedkins.

In recent weeks, O’Hara stood up for Everton’s Jack Grealish in suggesting he should have been able to play against Manchester City.

However, he has now taken aim at the new state-of-the-art stadium on the docks of the Mersey.

Everton’s stadium has blown away reporters attending the rugby fixture this weekend, but it seems as if O’Hara does not exactly share their view.

Earlier this week, Crystal Palace’s owner shared his amazement at the Hill Dickinson Stadium following his recent visit.

The Toffees lost their first game on home soil last weekend against O’Hara’s former side, Tottenham Hotspur.

Speaking on TalkSPORT, O’Hara has now slammed the Hill Dickinson as a copycat version of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

“Have you seen Everton’s Stadium? Have you seen inside it? It looks like a toy Spurs stadium,” said the 39-year-old.

“When you watch it on TV now, it looks like Spurs, but just not as big. It’s like a toy version of it. Everyone wants to copy our stadium!”

Everton’s new stadium has undergone a huge transformation over the last few days to prepare for England vs Australia in the Rugby Ashes.

The Hill Dickinson Stadium may not be as big as Tottenham’s, but the Blues are certainly establishing themselves as the crown of the north when it comes to stadia.

O’Hara is completely wrong about the Hill Dickinson Stadium

When it comes to offering a verdict on a stadium, fans are more inclined to trust other club owners, with Parish already waxing lyrical about the Hill Dickinson.

Birmingham City’s owner Tom Wagner loves Everton’s new stadium and he plans to take some inspiration for his own developments.

No Everton fan should be worried about what O’Hara has to say about their new home.

West Ham fans are envious of the Hill Dickinson Stadium and what Everton have in comparison to the London Stadium.

There are always going to be teams with a better ground or better players, but the likes of Dan Meis have done a fine job with the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
