Head coach Sean Dyche blasted a ‘really poor decision’ as Nottingham Forest had to settle for a 2-2 stalemate with Manchester United at the City Ground.

The Reds are without a win in the Premier League since the opening day of the season, when Nuno Espirito Santo was still in charge. They ended a run of four straight defeats in the league as they came from behind to draw with United but were frustrated not to take all three points.

Goals from Morgan Gibbs-White and Nicolo Savona in the space of two minutes after the break turned the game around for the hosts. But they argued the scoreline should have been different at that point anyway.

For the second game in succession, Forest fell behind following a disputed corner. This time around, a flag-kick was given against Savona when it looked as though he had kept the ball in play. When Casemiro headed in from the set-piece, the Reds were left furious.

"It's not inconclusive. I've seen it back,” Dyche told Sky Sports (via the BBC). “That's two decisions that are not right that have gone against us (including against Bournemouth last weekend).

“They give corners that aren't corners. They gave one last week and one this week. It's a really poor decision. That decides a lot. We are fighting for our lives to get up the table."

In his main press conference with the media, Dyche said: “Two weeks on the trot, which is bizarre in itself. Similar (incidents) but different.

“Today, I just can’t understand it. The assistant referee is stood away and has a goal and a net in the way, but apparently can see it.

“That has got to be wrong in the current climate. Someone has got to be able to overrule these decisions. They are just really quick (to do). It will only take five seconds.

“Of course you can say you have got to deal with the corner, but the point is it shouldn’t have been that. That is really difficult.

“That is really frustrating two weeks on the trot. With all the technology and all that’s at stake - particularly for us as a club with the start we’ve had - that’s a big moment. All of a sudden that goes against you, it’s very frustrating when it could be really easily cleared up.”
