A pair of ex-Patriots quarterbacks will be under center when their teams lineup this weekend.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Jacoby Brissett will start for the Cardinals on Monday night when they face the Cowboys in Dallas.
Schefter wrote that regular starter, “Kyler Murray is making progress from his foot sprain, and could have a role Monday night, but Brissett will start.”
Brissett has completed 52 of 81 passes for 599 yards with four touchdowns and one interception this season in two games as Arizona’s primary quarterback.
Mac Jones will be under center for the seventh time for the 49ers when they play at the Giants, as Brock Purdy moves closer to a return. The former New England first-round pick and starter has kept San Francisco in the playoff picture with victories in four of his six starts.
Jones has completed 149 of 226 passes for 1,597 yards, eight touchdowns and five interceptions.
