Tottenham Hotspur entertained Chelsea at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to secure a good result in the London derby. Spurs made a poor start to the game as they conceded the opener in the 34th minute thanks to Joao Pedro’s strike. Thomas Frank’s men were trailing 1-0 at the half-time break.
Tottenham failed to come up with a response in the second half and crashed to a tough 1-0 loss in front of their home fans.

He came back to defend when needed, but failed to impress in the opponent’s half.
**CM: Pape Matar Sarr – 7/10**
Sarr managed to shine at times on both ends of the pitch.

He anchored the midfield well but failed to influence the game going forward.
**CM: Rodrigo Bentancur – 6/10**
Bentancur earned possession back once and lacked quality in the final third.

He made two promising runs with the ball, but there was no goal for him.

Kolo Muani had a few lively moments up top but failed to register a goal.
