On Saturday, the Dallas Mavericks and Detroit Pistons will face off in an exciting interconference NBA matchup.
How to Watch Dallas Mavericks vs Detroit Pistons
The Pistons are off to a 3-2 start this season and are coming off an impressive win, a 135-116 result over the Orlando Magic. Former No. 1 overall pick Cade Cunningham led the way for Detroit in the win by scoring 30 points, dishing out 10 assists, and securing six rebounds. Blossoming center Jalen Duren also had an impressive showing in the win, going off for 21 points and 13 rebounds, to go with Ausar Thompson's 12 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists.
The Mavericks, meanwhile, playing without star guard Kyrie Irving due to an ACL injury, are 2-3 on the season, struggling most on the offensive end. Dallas is coming off a win, though, having most recently defeated the Indiana Pacers 107-105.
Two unexpected sources led the way for Dallas' offense in the win, with Brandon Williams going off for 20 points and seven rebounds on the bench, and veteran big man Dwight Powell adding 18 points and six rebounds. Potential future superstar Cooper Flagg had a great game, too, scoring 15 rebounds, securing 10 rebounds, and dishing out four assists.
