Former Michigan running back Hassan Haskins will be out at least four games for the Los Angeles Chargers.
The team placed the 2022 fourth-round pick on injured reserve on Saturday with a hamstring injury, which he suffered in Week 7 against the Indianapolis Colts.
The Chargers (5-3) have been decimated by injuries at the running back position this season. Haskins joins Najee Harris and rookie Omarion Hampton on IR.
In a corresponding move, the team elevated running backs Amar Johnson and Jaret Patterson from the practice squad for Sunday’s game at Tennessee. Second-year pro Kimani Vidal has emerged as Los Angeles’ lead back, rushing for over 100 yards two of the past three weeks.
Haskins is one of two former Wolverines on IR for Jim Harbaugh’s Chargers, joining linebacker Junior Colson.
Los Angeles claimed Haskins off waiver in August after he was released by the Titans. He has appeared in seven games in 2025, rushing for 30 yards on 12 attempts.
