Iraola full of praise for Bleazard and Cherries for remarkable unbeaten run

ANDONI Iraola gave high praise to the AFC Bournemouth’s women’s team for their phenomenal unbeaten run which continued at the Vitality Stadium last Wednesday.

The [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/?ref=au) are unbeaten in more than two seasons and have made a fantastic start to their first campaign in the third tier, currently sat top of the league ahead of their trip to AFC Wimbledon on Sunday.

Iraola praised the team and new boss Helen Bleazard, saying she had done a great job since starting in the role in the summer.

“When you say we are on a run, it's like, okay, seven, eight games, but they've been on a run for two seasons!” Iraola said.

“I think it’s good that they are now competing in a higher level, tier three and looking almost towards going even higher and I’m very happy.

“I was talking to Helen these past weeks and I think she's doing really well in this process also of becoming the manager. And I'm really happy for them also.”
