Bournemouth head to the Etihad today aiming at their first win over City away from home and they are the in-form side in the league, their eight games unbeaten the longest run in the top flight.
City are a formidable force, and sit in fifth in the league, below Bournemouth in second.
But the Cherries’ form and their start to the campaign gives the team confidence heading to meet the Citizens.
Asked if they go to the Etihad with no fear, Scott told the Daily Echo: “Yeah of course.

“I think especially where we are at the minute and how we've been playing recently, I think there's no reason why we should be fearful of playing against Man City.
“Obviously we respect them and, and what they've done in the Premier League for the past ten years, they've been probably one of the best teams and, at some points, the best team in the world.
“So we definitely respect them. How good they are, how good the manager is. And it's going to be tough.
“It's a challenge playing at the Etihad. But I think like I said, the way we're playing at the minute and the form were in we'll definitely go there and back ourselves and hopefully get the win.”

The team continues to learn week on week – and Scott said the lessons they have learned this season were apparent even last time out against Forest.
He said after the 3-3 draw at Crystal Palace that they had to become better at killing games off – and the following weekend, they were able to shut Forest out when leading 2-0 at half time once again.
“Even from past seasons, obviously you learn a lot,” Scott said.
“And I think the Palace game obviously to come out in the second half and for that to happen is unacceptable, especially if you want to be competing at the top of the Premier League.

“I think that was something that at half time against Forest was probably the first thing that was said is remember what happened at Palace and don’t let that happen again, pretty much.
“So the mentality of the group is very good. It's very strong.
“Again, we're learning each game. And I think if that didn't happen at Palace, then it could have been tougher against Nottingham Forest.
“So you need these little lessons in football. And thankfully we learnt from the previous week and put it right.”
