Everton considering Jackson move

Everton are considering a move for Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson next summer.

The Senegalese striker is currently spending the season on loan at Bayern Munich and, although the Bundesliga side have an option to buy him for ₤70 million, it is increasingly unlikely that will happen.

There have been suggestions that Bayern want to negotiate with Chelsea to take him permanenty for a lower fee, but, in case the London club are unwilling to entertain such on offer, then he would return to Stamford Bridge.

For that to become an obligation he must make a number of guaranteed starts from the Bundesliga champions, something their president Uli Hoeness, poured cold water on before he had been at the club a few weeks.

In the meantime, Everton, a side that have lacked a top-class striker for years, may be ready to throw their hat into the ring for Jackson, with his physicality and movement fitting the profile of a “David Moyes” player.
