A tremendous second half display from Hull City saw the in-form Tigers heap more pressure on Liam Manning with a 2-0 success at Norwich City.
A goal each from Joe Gelhardt and Darko Gyabi's first Tigers goal sealed a fourth win during what is now a six-game unbeaten run for City.
After a poor first half, which saw the hosts carve out some fine chances, Sergej Jakirovic's men improved drastically in the second period, helped by a change in shape, the arrival of Semi Ajayi and Joe Gelhardt's strike just four minutes into it.
Here, Tigers reporter Barry Cooper looks back on a memorable afternoon in Norfolk...
Goals, goals, goals
Another two goals into the goals for column sees City ranked as the Championship's second top scorers with their 22, albeit a long way behind Coventry City's 36.
City only mustered a fairly pathetic 44 in the entirety of last season, and after just 13 games, they're halfway there already.
Joe Gelhardt's fourth goal in four games also sees him move onto six goals, matching Oli McBurnie, who has also scored six goals, and matching Joao Pedro's total from last term, which he ended as the leading marksman.
Ending the curse
It's been 15 years since City last won at Carrow Road, also 2-0. Their last four defeats have been utterly miserable. Whether it be a 4-0 battering last term or a late, late defeat the season before on opening day.
City have been rubbish for years at Carrow Road. Since winning a couple early in the 1970s. That victory in 2010 was their last, and it's been a long, long wait.
For the 730 who paid a fair whack to get to Norfolk for a 12:30pm kick-off, seeing City win away there would have been worth all the effort and money, and was for all those who went before and came home empty-handed.
That team spirit
It's not the first time this season City have had to suffer a bit, with their backs to the wall, but not for the first time, they've seen it out and then gone on to win.
We saw it at Birmingham City, who were by far and away the better team in the first half and then, the Tigers hit them with a sucker-punch.
City were awful in the first half, arguably even worse than at Bristol City when they were ruthlessly punished. They did, however, hang in there and be resolute, riding their luck when needed to get into the break goalless, and from there, the rest is history.
Are times changing?
It wouldn't be unreasonable to suggest the term 'Typical City' was on everybody's minds ahead of kick-off. City in good form, Norwich in abject form with no wins at home and their manager under intense pressure.
All that, coupled with City's wretched record in Norfolk, and you could be forgiven for thinking the worst, especially with how that first half went.
Credit to Jakirovic, his staff and players, however, because that second half was anything but 'Typical City' and perhaps, things are starting to turn in the Tigers' favour.
You what?
Hull Live's post-match chat with Gelhardt was interrupted after a flurry of thuds on the security doors at Carrow Road, as fans protested and made their feelings known to anyone who would listen.
Those protests came after the game, and some fans staged a sit-in affair in the main car park, which halted Liam Manning, sporting director Ben Knapper and the players from leaving Carrow Road.
Come full-time, the atmosphere inside Carrow Road was toxic, but the little tiny corner of East Yorkshire in far corner was bouncing to the sound of the Tigers.
No rest for the wicked
City's players will have enjoyed the long coach journey back to East Yorkshire and they'll be relishing their day off on Sunday, before the hard work begins again ahead of Tuesday.
The Tigers will have just the one day to prepare for the visit to another of the form teams in the Championship, with Derby County lying in wait themselves on the back of a thumping away win at Sheffield United.
Both teams will be confident, but for City, having claimed three points at Norwich, getting a positive result in the East Midlands would be absolutely superb, with what looks like a very winnable home outing against Pompey to follow.
