Aston Villa have entered the race with Manchester United to sign Real Madrid starlet Endrick on loan. That's according to fresh reports from The Daily Star.

The Brazilian prodigy has been left out in the cold at the Spanish heavyweights, with manager Xabi Alonso not giving him a single minute of play this season. This situation has piqued the interest of several clubs, including United, West Ham and Juventus - with Villa now also expressing their desire to bring Endrick on loan during the January transfer window.

Endrick has communicated to his agents that he will need to depart from the Bernabeu unless there's a significant shift in his circumstances. He fears that his lack of game-time will jeopardise his spot in Brazil's squad for the World Cup next summer.

United have been monitoring the stalemate - according to new reports - and could also be open to signing the young player on a six-month loan deal at the beginning of 2026.

The 19-year-old set Real Madrid back £61m when he transferred from Palmeiras in 2024 - but he has only started three league matches and made a total of 36 appearances in all competitions.

Endrick - who has even been touted as the next Ronaldo - has struggled to make his mark at Real Madrid and is growing increasingly eager to leave. It's claimed that Real Madrid would want any potential suitor to cover all of Endrick's wages if a deal is to be agreed upon.

"Of course, I'd like him to have played already," Alonso commented regarding Endrick's lack of playing time.

"But the situations in our recent matches have been very tight since Endrick returned. I hope he can get those minutes soon. He's training well, he's ready - but the right moment has to come."
