Bold NFL predictions or Sunday Night Football Week 9

Welcome to Sunday of week 9 in the NFL! This Sunday night, we have the 5-2 Seattle Seahawks coming off their bye, taking on the 3-5 Washington Commanders, who have been struggling over the past few weeks. The Seahawks will try to keep pace in the NFC West, while the Commanders will try to keep their season alive. Here are bold predictions for tonight’s game and a prediction of the final score:

Final Score Prediction:

The 5-2 Seahawks are 2.5-point road favorites over the Washington Commanders. On paper, the Seahawks are not only the better team, but they also match up very well against the Commanders. The Seahawks enter Week 9 as the league’s number one defense against the run, allowing just 75.7 rushing yards per game. This is important to note because the Commanders’ greatest strength is their rushing offense, as they are tied for third in the league with 137.8 rushing yards per game. Seattle also features a top 10 pass offense, while Washington ranks 26th in the league against the pass. Seattle should come away with a win tonight, and the final score prediction is 27-20.
