NEWCASTLE are without Kieran Trippier at West Ham today, with the experienced right-back missing the game because of illness.

But there's a big boost on the bench with Lewis Hall returning to the squad after recovering from injury.

Emil Krafth - who played in the midweek Carabao Cup win over Tottenham - starts in the absence of Trippier.

He's joined by Malick Thiaw, Sven Botman and Dan Burn in defence, with Fabian Schar dropping back to the bench despite his excellent midweek showing.

Howe has gone back to his first choice midfield three of Sandro Tonali, Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton.

Jacob Murphy and Anthony Gordon support Nick Woltemade.

Ex-[Newcastle United](http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/football/newcastle?ref=au) striker Callum Wilson starts for West Ham, who have lost five of their last six Premier League games and haven't won since August:
