Terrion Arnold might be the toughest Detroit Lions player on the roster.
That might sound far fetched, considering the teams' makeup, but it's true. The cornerback went down in Week 5 with a shoulder injury which, at first, seemed to doom his season. It was reported he may need surgery that would hold him out for the remainder of the year, which would've been a huge blow to the Lions' secondary and postseason chances considering his heightened role in the defense.
Now? Arnold is playing in Week 9 against a divisional rival at home. This bodes extremely well for him, a second year corner looking to prove how important he is to containing opposing teams' passing games, and for Detroit as they're short another key player in their secondary for this contest.
Arnold is proving just how tough he really is by bouncing back and rehabbing this quickly, which goes to show that Detroit landed another gem in the draft.
Lions inactives list for Week 9
Here's who the Lions have listed as inactive for their clash against the Vikings in Week 9, courtesy the team:
Player Injury
Kerby Joseph Knee
Craig Reynolds Hamstring
Jammie Robinson N/A
Erick Hallett N/A
Mekhi Wingo N/A
Quinton Jefferson N/A
Kerby Joseph had been held out of practice this week, which means he's had two weeks to rehab and recover from his recent knee injury suffered in Week 7 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Hopefully, we get to see him again soon alongside reinstated safety Brian Branch. Taylor Decker's shoulder has also been of concern for Detroit, but he's active for today.

As for the Vikings, here's who will be out of their contest against the Lions:

CB Jeff Okudah
FB C.J. Ham
LB Austin Keys
T Walter Rouse
TE Josh Oliver
TE Ben Sims
DL Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins

Andrew Van Ginkel is a huge get for them for this contest, and they'll also have a relatively healthy offensive line headed into this one. This poses an interesting day for both Minnesota and Detroit. No rematch is taking place between cornerback Jeff Okudah and the Lions, though, as he's out for Minnesota.
The Lions are getting back Al-Quadin Muhammad in this one, which means they'll have a line of Aidan Hutchinson (freshly paid), Muhammad, DJ Reader, and Alim McNeill. Can the Vikings' offensive line, which has seen more iterations of anyone in the league this season, contain this freshly returned group?
