The NFL trade deadline is right around the corner, and the Miami Dolphins, at 2-7, are viewed as one of the biggest sellers of the 2025 season.
A lot of different players have emerged as trade candidates, from stars like Jaylen Waddle to a trio of pass rushers. The Dolphins have garnered a lot of interest in their players ahead of the NFL deadline.
And now, Fox Sports NFL insider Jay Glazer revealed which Dolphins player is the most likely to be traded. It's not Waddle, as it's one of the three pass rushers who've been mentioned in trade rumors the last few weeks.
NFL insider reveals which Dolphins pass rusher is most likely to be traded
Of the three pass rushers in Miami, Glazer revealed that Dolphins pass rusher Jaelan Phillips is the "most likely" player to be traded at the upcoming NFL trade deadline.

The trio of pass rushers who are available are Matthew Judon, Bradley Chubb, and Phillips. Of these three, Phillips is the most appealing for teams around the NFL.
He's a one-year rental, lowering his price tag in a trade, while also being a great pickup. Judon has struggled this season with Miami, and isn't the best veteran option at the deadline for a pass-rush needy team.
Chubb, meanwhile, is on a huge contract that makes trading for him difficult. While he's been the most productive pass rusher this season, his huge contract, with cap hits of over $30 million in 2026 and 2027, makes his acquisition a tough one to manage.

Phillips has a $13.2 million cap hit, and with the deadline at the midseason point, a team will only be on the hook for half of that contract. He's 26 years old and has had three sacks and 25 tackles so far this season.
In his NFL career, while the last two seasons were cut short due to injury, he's been a productive pass rusher. The Philadelphia Eagles are showing strong interest in Phillips, as reuniting him with Vic Fangio is appealing to Philadelphia.
While there are plenty of players on the Dolphins drawing trade interest, Phillips is the one player whom Glazer expects to be traded by the trade deadline on Tuesday, November 4th, at 4:00 p.m.
