Mohamed Salah spent his Sunday morning relaxing at home with one of his daughters. Fresh after scoring for Liverpool in a 2-0 win against Aston Villa on Saturday night, the 33-year-old appeared to be afforded a day off.
And Salah, who had come under pressure for a slow start to the season, showed that he isn't letting the outside noise impact him as he enjoyed some time with his daughter at home.
In an Instagram post, Salah uploaded a picture of him and his daughter sitting down and chilling. The Egyptian received messages of support in the comments section, while the post received more than 250,000 likes within the first eight hours.
Salah and his wife, Magi, have two daughters: Makka, born in 2014 and Kayan, born in 2020. Both are often seen on the Anfield pitch after Liverpool's final home game of the season.
Going into Saturday's game against Villa, Salah had scored just once in his last eight appearances for the Reds. He ended a mini goal drought with a consolation at Brentford last weekend, and followed it up with a strike as Arne Slot's side returned to winning ways in the Premier League.
Salah gave Liverpool the lead towards the end of the first half, slotting home following a mistake from the Villa defence. It was an instinctive finish from the ex-Chelsea man, who was gifted possession from Emiliano Martinez before hitting the ball first time and into an empty net.

Ryan Gravenberch put the Reds 2-0 up in the second half to give Slot's men some breathing room and secure a much-needed three points, following four successive top-flight defeats.
Speaking post-match, Slot cut a relieved figure. "Happy with the result, with the performance and what I saw today, not only from the players but also the support we got from the fans, was what we needed today," he said.
"Maybe we were a bit more on the lucky side than we've been in the last few weeks, where in my opinion we were also unlucky. So, the mistake of their goalkeeper and the deflection led to two of our goals.
"These are the margins we are talking about. I think in other games we've created more from open play than we did today. But in football it's about results, not about the chances you create from open play."
Salah's goal was his 250th in a Liverpool shirt - a milestone that is "unbelievable" according to Slot.

That's huge," the Dutchman added. "That's almost unbelievable if you score 250 goals for one club. If you score 250 goals, it's already unbelievable – let alone for one club. You don't see this that much in football anymore. And I think apart from the goal he scored tonight, he had a very good performance.
"Because when we had to play long, we played mainly long towards him and he could hold the ball, so because of that the rest of the team could come to him and we could keep playing. And what I also liked was that he didn't only do his offensive work really well, but he helped the team out defensively as well. I think after we scored the 1-0, he was helping Virgil [van Dijk], I think, somewhere around the halfway line.
"This combination of things led to the fact that I liked his performance tonight. And, of course, it's special for him to score his 250th. For him to score is not even that special, because that's what we also know he will always do."
