A brace from Erling Haaland and a goal from Nico O’Reilly were enough for Pep Guardiola’s side to pick up all three points today. Tyler Adams equalised for Bournemouth in the first half after Erling Haaland had given City the lead. But Manchester City did enough to pick up three points and move up to second on the Premier League table with a good win over a quality opponent.
Erling Haaland, Nico, Jeremy Doku, Phil Foden, Nico O’Reilly, and Rayan Cherki were the standout performers for City today, and the City player ratings show that Pep Guardiola’s side put in a quality team performance to beat Andoni Iraola’s side.
#### City player ratings
**Gianluigi Donnarumma-6/10:** Was possibly fouled for Tyler Adams’ goal, but he should’ve dealt with the corner better regardless of that in my opinion. Made one big save in the second half as he put that setback behind him.
**Matheus Nunes-7.5/10:** Another good performance from Nunes. He dealt with the threat that Antoine Semenyo provided well, and he continued his impressive recent form.
**Ruben Dias-7/10:** A good showing again from Ruben Dias. Solid at the back alongside Josko Gvardiol.
**Josko Gvardiol-7/10:** A better performance from the Croatian international. He must stay at centre-back in my opinion, as playing there suits his game better.
**Nico O’Reilly-8.5/10:** A brilliant display from O’Reilly. Grabbed a goal and was a constant threat going forward, and did his job well defensively.

**Nico-9/10:** Alongside Erling Haaland, Nico was Manchester City’s man-of-the-match in my opinion. He was superb in midfield and controlled the game well.
**Bernardo Silva-8/10:** Did the hard work for his team in a brilliant captain’s display.
**Phil Foden-8.5/10:** Put in a superb display in his 200th Premier League appearance. His development in becoming a midfielder is a joy to watch.
**Rayan Cherki-8.75/10:** A superb performance from Cherki. Picked up two assists and some of his link-up play with Phil Foden especially, was superb. A brilliant outing from Cherki and one that is full of promise for what lies ahead.
**Jeremy Doku- 7.5/10:** Played in a more central role, especially in the first half. Created several clear-cut chances for his team and put in a shift before being substituted.
**Erling Haaland-9/10:** Another exceptional display from Haaland. Bagged a brace and was a constant threat to the Bournemouth defence. Bournemouth’s high defensive line played into Haaland’s hands, and he took full advantage.
#### Substitutes
**Savinho-6/10:** Brought life to the game off the bench, but his performance was a frustrating one.
**Tijjani Reijnders-6/10:** Had several chances late on to score but wasn’t to be.
**Omar Marmoush-6/10:** Marmoush should be better for the run.
**Rodri-N/A:** Not on long enough to mark.
**Rayan Ait-Nouri-N/A:** Not on long enough to mark.
