Is Keon Coleman playing today? Why Bills WR is off to lackluster start in Week 9

There are few, if any [Buffalo Bills](https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/buffalo-bills) players who are more disappointing this season than wide receiver Keon Coleman.

Coleman was expected to step into the No. 1 wide receiver role in his second season following an up-and-down rookie campaign.

However, not only has Coleman failed to do that, he isn't even the team's second-best pass-catcher with Dalton Kincaid and Khalil Shakir both being more productive.

All that said, nobody should be surprised that Coleman is nowhere to be found early on in the Week 9 game against the [Kansas City Chiefs](https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/kansas-city-chiefs). Here's what's going on.

Is Keon Coleman playing today?

------------------------------

Yes, Coleman is active, but per usual, he has been quiet through three drives.

The Bills had an excellent opening series, but they have been stifled on the next two drives, so there hasn't been much of an opportunity for Coleman to get going.

We'd like to say better things are ahead for Coleman, but we know better than that.
