Bills 'feeling pretty good' after Chiefs win

The Buffalo Bills kept their regular-season winning streak over the Kansas City Chiefs rolling with a 28-21 win at Highmark Stadium.

In a game that saw Josh Allen have just three incompletions, going 23 of 26 for 273 yards and a touchdown, while James Cook rushed for 114 yards, the offense was rolling, but the defensive line deserves huge praise for consistently getting after Patrick Mahomes.

Yes, the Bills continued on their merry way in the regular season, and now move to 6-2, and for those who are taking the glass have an empty approach to the win, given it doesn't really move the needle in the grand scheme of things, Allen has a little message for you.

"They're the pinnacle of what you want your franchise to be," Allen said. "They've been that for the last eight years. Anytime you get a chance to play the best and come away with a victory, you're going to be feeling pretty good. There's a lot to be happy about, but it's never as good, never as bad as you think."

Bills' defense produces against Kansas City

This is the type of performance Sean McDermott would have envisioned when he went to sleep last night.

The defensive line consistently got penetration and forced Mahomes off his spot, although at times he completed long bombs to keep drives alive. At one point in the game, Mahomes was 10 for 22 passing, as the Bills' defense was making life hard.

Michael Hoecht was a menace, forcing his way into the backfield, while the defensive unit sacked Mahomes three times and grabbed a late interception on the Hail Mary.

All in all, it was a good night in Buffalo, but it will be soured by Hoecht's Achilles tear, which McDermott confirmed post-game.
