The San Francisco 49ers got back on track with a 34-24 win over the New York Giants.
Defensive coordinator Robert Saleh got to prepare his defense against a Giants offense that has seen a fair share of injuries this season, namely, wide receiver Malik Nabers and running back Cam Skattebo, who are both out for the rest of the year.
Thus, New York was prompted to sign a veteran pass catcher in Ray Ray McCloud. The former 49er was released by the Atlanta Falcons recently and then picked up by the Giants to fill the void.
Former teammates Ray-Ray McCloud and Deommodore Lenoir had to be separated after jawing at each other 😅

Cornerback Deommodore Lenoir even got into a physical spar with his former teammate. That was the most impact that McCloud had during the game against San Francisco.
The former 49er wideout was held to just one catch for 5 yards. It was the only target McCloud saw from rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart.
As for the two going back and forth, it appears the new G-Men receiver had some beef with Lenoir that stems back to when they were on the same team, and that nearly reached a crescendo when the Niners played the Falcons.
Why Deommodore Lenoir and the 49ers defense needed this win
San Francisco got the best of the Falcons in a 20-10 victory during Week 7. Following the game, the Falcons released McCloud in part because of his comments on social media aimed at Lenoir and the 49ers.
After the game, Lenoir didn't hesitate to back up what he said about McCloud previously, and the finale certainly seems to cement the winner and the loser.
In the NFL, a win is a win. San Francisco now has six wins and Lenoir has two over McCloud.
