Kelly Oubre Jr. scored a game-high 29 points to help get the Sixers back in the win column with a 129-105 win over the Brooklyn Nets. Oubre Jr. dropped 22 first-quarter points to set the tone for his big night and the team’s fifth victory of the young season. Tyrese Maxey continued his solid play with 26 points, six rebounds and seven assists. Quentin Grimes dropped 22, seven boards and a career-high 13 assists, rookie VJ Edgecombe added 16, and former Net Trendon Watford added 16, nine rebounds and seven dimes against his former club. Philadelphia will travel to play the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night.
