It was a near-perfect Sunday night for the Seattle Seahawks.
Sam Darnold and company came out and smoked the Washington Commanders on Sunday Night Football.
Darnold was 21-for-24 passing for 330 yards and four touchdowns. He did throw a pick, but that was the only blemish.
He threw two touchdowns to Tory Horton, one to Cody White and one to Elijah Arroyo.
By the middle of the fourth quarter, Darnold had his ballcap on. He'd earned an early exit.

Why isn't Sam Darnold playing?
The Seahawks pulled Darnold for the remainder of Sunday night's game to preserve his health.
Up by three-plus scores with limited time left, there was no risk of a comeback.
Drew Lock came in to play as Darnold's backup.
The move was going to happen already, but it made even more sense after Seattle watched Washington's Jayden Daniels get injured while playing with a 31-point deficit.
The Seahawks improve to 6-2, and they'll have Darnold healthy going forward.
The new free agent signing from this offseason is at the peak of his powers right now, and Seattle will gladly get him back out there next week to try and keep it rolling.
